The Cold Snap update adds a limited-time community Project called Flickering Flames. It runs until January 13, 2026 and is split into five stages. Each stage asks for four specific turn-ins, with a heavy focus on Candleberries (260 total).

Candleberry farming tips
- Candleberry Banquet live activity: simply playing and earning XP progresses this seasonal track; hit milestones to claim bulk Candleberries.
- Cold Snap map modifier: look for Frost/Candleberry bushes while deployed during the event — harvest every patch on the route.
- Run light routes: stash or sell non-essentials to keep space for event items; avoid recycling any of the listed turn-ins.
- Daily drip strategy: split the 260 Candleberries over multiple short sessions so you’re not grinding at the deadline.
Recommended order of play
- Clear Stage 1–2 immediately; they cost the fewest Candleberries and unlock the Red Glow Stick blueprint early.
- Farm Candleberries in parallel with Stage 3–5 turn-ins; never recycle Coffee Pots, Frying Pans, or Music Albums during the event.
- Finish Stage 5 at least a few days before January 13 to avoid last-minute scarcity on Mushrooms and Albums.
